Abandoned Tunnels

You grab on to the section of walkway and hope for the best. It slides right up to the edge of the pipe, then stops. It teeters on the edge for a few seconds, before slowly tilting vertical. You manage to hold your grip as the metal tips over the edge, sending you into a free fall.

You hang on to the falling walkway for dear life, hoping that it will by some miracle protect you. You fall for what feels like minutes. This pipe seems impossibly deep. 

Finally, you hit water with a resounding CRACK. The sound of your body hitting the surface echoes loudly throughout the entire pipe. You never hear it, though. After all, your body was entirely pulverized the second you hit the water.
