Palace of the True Rat King

You get into a line at the back of the bar. One at a time, a rat with its tail tied in a knot beckons rodents through a curtain. After a while, you notice that less rodents have left the back room than have entered. Many of those who leave have a peculiar look in their eyes and knotted tails.

You reach the end of the line. After a few minutes, the rat beckons you in.
