As the song reaches it climax, you begin playing a complex and flashy rhythm using almost every drum in the kit. You feel as if the drumsticks are merely extensions of your paws.
You finish out the song with an exciting drum fill, ending with a loud ride cymbal hit. The small crowd erupts into cheers and applause.
As you play through more songs, you start to become more and more adept with the instrument. Your rhythms become increasingly complex, but you always manage to blend your sound with the rest of the band. The crowd grows as passing pedestrians are drawn in by the music.
Eventually, the bass guitarist lets you know there's only one more song. You finish the song out with an incredible, long drum fill. You are meet with raucous applause by a crowd which is much bigger than it was when you entered the bar.
Afterwards, the owner of the bar rushes up to the stage.
"That was fantastic! I never doubted you for a second, really. I knew if I put a fire under your tails you'd be able to do it!"
The mouse pulls out a tablet.
"So when can I book you all for next? Totally free of charge, of course. Look how many people are in here!"
The singer goes over to the mouse and begins to talk scheduling in the corner. The guitarist pulls you aside.
"Listen, man, that was just fantastic. Really. What crazy luck that such a gifted drummer just happened to walk in when we needed them."
The bass guitarist walks over and pats you on the back.
"Actually, we were wondering if you'd want to join us full time. Our other drummer, she- well, she's honestly not that good. We've kind of been looking for someone better, and well... here you are!"
